The "Caller" in question doesn't like being ignored, and the mysterious woman begins to taunt her with sneaky tricks done in the past which effect the future and quite possibly skew into an alternate timeline.
Mary is aided by a college professor named John (Stephen Moyer), who claims to understand her trippy situation implicitly with the all-purpose "I'm a Trekkie!" defense.
Having "True Blood" star Moyer and former "The Twilight Saga" star Lefevre on board means a double dose of vampire sexiness, and to top it off with "Boogie Nights" badass Luis Guzmán as some sort of weird gardener and you've got a recipe for awesome.
There's more than just casting two bloodsuckers that makes this flick interesting, though. After being cast aside for Bryce Dallas Howard as vampire Victoria, Canadian beauty Lefevre knew a thing or two about being replaced. When late actress Brittany Murphy was let go from the Puerto Rico shoot of "The Caller" in late 2009 Lefevre immediately swooped in for the lead part, and Murphy died a few short weeks later.nextmovie.com
